Hi, I'm Raine! I do sciency things, hack/build technology, hike and spend time outdoors, have an FM radio show, and do a bunch of other really cool things (in my humble opinion)!

I've worked on so many things over the last few years, from spacecraft to open-source software (vlc for the win!)

This page is a mediawiki server, why do I do that? Well, it's a pretty easy way for me to set up a site, has nice features like citations, and makes it easier for me to keep things stable. I don't want to make an entire CMS, and don't agree with some of the existing CMS's ownership and structure (cough wordpress). I also figure everyone is used to wikipedia, so it's a pretty familiar user interface!

Anyways, that was a lot of run-on sentences! There should be more content coming soon here, but I need some time to get things set up!
